We were asked by the Elizabeth Foundation, a charity organisation for deaf children, to provide cover and protection from sunlight and rain for a brand new mini bus.
Problem solving with the canopy design
They wanted something that was modern looking but also practical in how it covered the bus. Height was a key factor to take into consideration.
Choosing the right product
The perfect product was to be the free standing, curved roof, extended Monza canopy from our Italia Range. The canopy fully covers the mini bus and offers the setting some modern styling and aesthetics without compromising strength and functionality. An added bonus is that the canopy roof helps protect against 90% of the suns harmful UV rays and is tested for wind speed and snow load. We also have a full range of car shelters and car park canopies. For more information, view our range here.
Installing the canopy
Space was an issue and making it easy for the driver to park the bus was key. We fit the posts against the boundary line maximising on the space we had, leaving as much free space as possible. The car park was already a tight environment but we managed to make best use of the space and install a lovely canopy. The install only took two days.
Interesting facts about the canopy
This was the first extended Italia product we installed. The Monza and other products within the Italia Range are all available in different widths and lengths.
